squeak. speak. roar!

After all the holiday revelry, I am finally back to my original schedule - that is getting a week’s break from work and just recuperating from my flu. lol. I expected a fair amount of partying but not to the extent that my body’s actually protesting against any more late nights and crazy coughed-out mornings.

Just a quick recap (and reminder from N) that I got a chance to try the famous ‘Bel’s roasted chicken’ yesterday! Haha. It was good. I enjoyed the corn and the ‘golden egg’ stuffed in that poor headless dead fowl. It was made for their parents’ 29th wedding anniversary. How sweet is that? I contributed my pasta stir-frying skills and I’m glad it turned out okay. The sweet potato mash was really good too but I enjoyed the salad most. It was a feast complete with durian later! lol.

As for today, I dedicated most of my day to Eel (who’s leaving tomorrow back to AU) and Mas shopping at Low Yat and later in 1 Utama. I made most of the purchases namely a pink(!) condom for my Pinko and those screen protector thingies. I also bought this ultra cool fedora from Fourskin - it’s so Frou Frou and I’m thinking that shall be my first image makeover for the new year. I actually tried one in MNG that was really pretty and contemplated getting it but Shu reckon I could find a better one in Fourskin. I guess the one in Fourskin is old skool and tweed-esque whereas the MNG one was more fashionable than anything else. You know me and vintage-looking stuff, modernity and trends are so overrated. Omg, I just realised the amount of headgear I have ranging from caps, beanies, a ho ho ho hat, horns, bunny ears, a beret and now a groovy fedora. Damn this materialism, I only have one head anyway!

*inner voice speaks* but, but … it’s so cool!

Oh well. How can you say no to this?
