squeak. speak. roar!

Ah, I’m taking my one hour lunch break from work to blog. And I’m snacking on crackers and tuna spread for lunch. The tuna’s not too bad. With ample mayonnaise and pickled cucumbers, it complements the salty crackers pretty well.

I didn’t feel like eating today. I felt like nibbling. I’m not sure why. But I sure think this is brilliant lunch! Not too heavy and yummy as hell.

Anyway, I attended PKR’s CNY open house last night with Nat. I expected a longer political pitch from DSAI and others but the mood remained light and pleasant with no major political rallying. The performances were great! I love accordions and harmonicas. Here are some pictures!

Later I met freelunch2020 (who is a chick, wickedy!) and desiderata (who instantly gave me journalism advice) at the KLSCAH where the open house was held. All of us decided to pop on over to the NPC to see the bloggers who chill there every Friday night. Zorro, BigDog and A Voice have been telling me to go, so I did!

Indeed the crew were there including Rocky, Nuraina, Shanghai Stephen, Stand-Up Philosopher, the Malay Male (whom Nat was happy to finally meet), Tony, shar101 and the famous NPC karaoke machine. lol. And I sang because shar101 asked me to (nice or not?). I picked ‘Stay’ … one of my fave songs cos Lisa Loeb is so cool. She’s spexy, like me. Haha.

I had fun and I’m glad I popped by. As for the smoke that seeped into my lungs, clothes and bag …. errr, I think I will need a human-sized bubble :)

And by virtue of the fact, my nick was thrown everywhere in the club, look! lol.

So who else wants to meet politikus? Her hangouts include PJ, TTDI, Bangsar and at Wisma Denmark during Jeff’s/Rocky’s hearings. She likes limau ais, barli limau ais tak nak biji-biji semua, teh o ais limau, sirap limau ais and good ol’ Coca Cola. Prefers to mamak from 11pm onwards.
