I’m back!

Hello all!

Proxy me and Jas in Angkor Wat. lol.

After a good break in Siem Reap, I have to get back to work tomorrow. lol. I’ll blog more soon but I thought I’d share a quick picture before I bed it comfortably back in my own bed.

So, did I miss much? :)

Anyway, A Voice texted me a while back about getting people to register to vote. I have been doing so for the longest time. There was the time where I registered myself. Then the shocking numbers revealed by the EC on unregistered voters. Also, it’s often mention in passing in some posts.

Also, the ‘fa-mouse’ avatar that briefly graced my profile page …

lol. That smirk is so me.

And with Sheih rocking the vote already ….

(Thanks Sheih, it’s bloody wicked!)

Go out and register to vote NOW because the electoral roll is updated every 3 months. So chances are snap elections could be held any time soon and when they are, you might not register in time to make it into the updated, eligible voters list.

Registering to vote is simple. I did mine in the post office and it was done in 3 minutes. All I had to do was hand over my IC and confirm my address (you have a choice of changing the address to your current place of abode). Alternatively, you can look for SPR booths that are normally located in shopping complexes and hypermarts.

Why vote? Because this is the ultimate power of the rakyat. Every vote counts. Political apathy doesn’t solve anything. It’s also akin to watching somebody rob your friend and not doing a thing. Instead of standing there thinking “I’m glad it didn’t happen to me” or that “the robbery doesn’t affect me what” - you act, you fight and do what is right. Exercising your right to abstain from voting = relinquishing your right to bitch about the country. Vote for change, vote for freedom and vote because you can.

Vote - because as clichéd as it sounds - the power really is in your hands.

[Go Capt Planet slogan which Celcom ripped-off from :)]

Hey that second pic is cool, that’s a ninja from Naruto :) If I’m not mistaken, that’s Uchiha Itachi brother to one of the main characters, though it really looks like a girl. I remember using that pic as reference source before, for the arms and fingers. Where’d you get that pic from? I’ve been meaning to get back to wherever I found it, but I forgot to bookmark it. :(
