Siem Reap.
Warning, many pictures ahead!

Getting ready for my trip as I sat in the LCCT.

First meal was amoc and lemon fish.

Made a quick visit to the land mine museum. I’m easily moved by war stories. I’m still fascinated with wars.

One of the street kids I met that tried to sell me postcards. She was quite sweet.

At the floating village in Tonle Sap.

Another shot from the floating village. The clouds were amazing.

The climb up Angkor Wat.

Gorgeous apsara (heavenly nymphs) carvings.

Another shot of Angkor Wat. I quite like climbing.

Sanskrit at Bantay Srei.

Life amongst ruins at Bantay Srei.

Pug at Bantay Samre.

Light. Darkness. Doorways.

I got lost in Ta Prohm.

Dawn at Angkor Wat. Love the hues.

Sokla - our tuk tuk driver.

Banana pancakes for breakfast.

Jas’ Spanish omelette with baguette.

Angkor Thom - ‘great city’.

Bayon Temple. Easily my fave with those faces carved in all four directions.

Back in Ta Prohm and didn’t get lost this time. lol.

Lunch at The Blue Pumpkin near Psar Chaa.

Chai Masala Tea - my fave.

Chicken ravioli in bacon and cheese sauce for lunch.

Crocs on tuks.

Blue skies. Trunk road. Girl on bicycle.

I donated blood at Kantha Bopha, Siem Reap.

Water buffalo and paddy fields.

Pineapple curry with pork and errr, pineapple. Reflective pot.

(Best ever!) Frogs in spices.

Psar Chaa.

Happy herb ham and olive pizza for dinner. A sprinkle of hash. Yum.

Pub / Bar street, Siem Reap.

Siem Reap International Airport.

“Welcome home,” says Ampersand in the car.

The journey home with a hand to hold :)
That was my trip to Siem Reap with Jas !
Just got back from Parliament. Is it me or does a session not go by without some MP speaking about blogs and bloggers? :)

Hey!
Lovely pics. Oh how I miss the place already. Oh and Blue Pumpkin is an awesome place that’s so out of the place in Siem Reap.
Btw, which floating village did you go to? Chong Kneas?

Hope you don’t mind some foreigner following your blog…
I’m really impressed by your pictures! Especially the landscapes - you manage to capture moments/situations/feelings with just a click of your camera, I’d love to be able to do that, as well.
Now I’m hungry, though :)
