April Fools!
… and I lost my beloved Oxmox purse :( :( :( Or was it stolen? I don’t know :(
My IC, drivers license, 2 ATM cards, 1 credit card, Bristol University student card, some cash, an earring and some hair pins are all gone.
My purse has two zip compartments. It looks like this at the back:

And the front has this motif:

I’m bummed about losing my student card which is irreplaceable. I’m even more bummed about the purse which I absolutely love so much and was a gift from someone. I’ve been using it for years and it has not deteriorated one bit.
I last used my purse on Saturday night at GSC MidValley after purchasing two drinks. I watched a movie in Hall 12 with friends and my sister. We sat at F14-18. After the movie, I went to the washroom and when I got to the car, I realised my purse was gone. I’ve made a police report and will be getting all my documents replaced soon.
If anybody has seen it, please email me. I know this is a long shot in getting it back but I thought it was worth a try. It’d be great if anyone could help in any way.
Thanks.
Also, not too good for Nat either cos his ATM got eaten by the machine and just recently, his sister crashed the car. The jokes that are being played on us are not funny, man :(

Very sorry to hear that. Had my wallet stolen ten years ago and I still haven’t recovered from the loss!

Sorry to hear this. Hope that someone will just take the money and throw the bag. away….where a good samaritan is around. Never give up hope! While hoping…you still need to do the neccessary things to get new cards. I don’t think serious police checks will entertain copies …like zorro. He is lucky. You maybe inconvienced to phone someone to get the originals…while you stay at a police station waiting. So always carry orignals.
Take care.

i once dropped my purse in 1U’s TGV. Didn’t realise it till the next morning. Went back there, and enquired about it. :-)) they had it in their lost and found. all my cards and whatever little money i had was all in tact.
hope your purse will have a happy ending like mine.

I have done it. I gave the cop my driving licence and told them the approximate time I will show them my IC. Most often our cops are sensible and accommodating depending how you communicate with them. Our body language is a good indicator. When the law on safety belt was imposed. ….now you may not believe this…..in the morning a Sikh cop stopped me and I just told him I forgot to belt up….I said “mintak maaf”…he let me off…..that same evening at a different location, the same sikh cop approached me at the traffic lights and asked why I didnt strap on….again I said “sorry” and he replied, “Pagi mintak maaf, sekarang lagi minta maaf.” I told him I have to get used to and he waved me off. They are nice people like all of us….just empatise with them…dont look down on them and you can be excused, most times.

Zorro has a kind face and he is very lucky. No one is looking down on the police. I am wondering how many carry copies like him and been treated sensibly well. I have encountered my children asking me to bring their originals to a police station..or else they sleep there one night!
The law said carry them safely. The law did not say …one can carry copies…so why break the law?

I am sorry for Pulau Tikus (as how Zorro calls you!). I am also sorry for the Bristol U card. I am sorry that you have got to go thru the process to doing the MyKad, driver’s license and all that is lost, again.
I want to tell a story about Cops thingy since Zorro mentioned it. My wife has a very effective tool against traffic cops. whenever she is flagged down, she will cry. ALL the time, the cops ask her to leave. It started naturally (the first time they flagged her down, she cried because she felt in state of ‘fear’ or ‘doing something wrong’). Then she discovered that its a great way not to get summons, she does it all the time now!
