Quote.

I heard this quote today and I felt an overwhelming sense of realisation.

There is no greater criminal than an intellectual, knowing of a crime being committed, chooses to remain silent.

Are you a criminal?

Why?

    Dear all,

Let me put up my hand and admit that I have been a “criminal”. Honestly, I never had any interest in politics. I mean, after university I was busy building a career and girls (before I got married la) & football were my main interests. Politics then was the last thing on my mind. I knew BN were corrupted and chaps like that Samy Vellu & Daim were dubious characters BUT I did nothing.

    Why I did nothing?

I guess our media being controlled by BN sort of “programmed” me to think that under BN, we have stability and growth.
I thought then all those abuses and corruption etc were “tolerable”. You know, ‘it wont affect me’ , ‘not my problem’ kinda thingy.

But no more. I stopped being ignorant a long time ago.
And honestly, after seeing the pictures of what the FRU did to Batu Caves ( I m chinese, by the way) last Sunday morning, it is crystal clear to me that this UMNO led government gotta go.

    My 2sen.

the most effective way is throught the ballot box. That i am ready for! But BN’s think tank also knows it. That’s why you have information clampdown everywhere. Without proper information being distributed to the majority of people…our hard reasoned votes will be diluted. Even Zam knows that. He knows majority people are internet-illiterate let alone see or know what is going on in the city. That’s why BN is so cocky! why wouldn’t they?
What i’m trying to say is, we (the ones reading off the net), alone does not constitute the majority of the voters…sad to say, not even close to 1/3. in addition, we are also spread thinly across all constitution. Therefore, by knowing who we wanted to vote in the coming election is NOT enough to make a change. We need to involve everyone especially those without access to the net. Easiest way, show them the pictures taken by our dear bloggers…let the information reach the people…then together, we will break the will of our rotting gahmeh. The bloggers have started the ball rolling, it is up to us to spread it far and wide. So my fellow comrads, do not let the information you see in the net end with yourself, SHARE it. FREE the information to all! Let’s shake the very foundation that BN is so proud of. V-V-V-V
