WTF??
The government must be striving REALLY hard to get people to speak against the Hindraf rally. So our national news agency with their boss Zainuddin Maidin decides to run this story.
Malaysian Students In Egypt Angry With Hindraf
CAIRO, Nov 29 (Bernama) — Malaysian students in Egypt are angry with the Hindu Rights Action Force (Hindraf) for ignoring the Yang di-Pertuan Agong in highlighting the problems faced by the Indian community in Malaysia.
Information Minister Datuk Seri Zainuddin Maidin said several groups of students who met him expressed their anger over Hindraf leaders’ move to ask Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II to intervene in Malaysia’s internal affairs.
Their action tantamounts to challenging and showing disrespect to Malaysia’s Constitutional Monarchy system and to Malaysians who are loyal to the country, he told reporters here Wednesday.
Zainuddin said Hindraf have portrayed themselves to be still under the British colonial rule and not as citizens of an independent and sovereign Malaysia.
Hindraf staged a street demonstration in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday to submit a memorandum to the British High Commission urging Queen Elizabeth II to appoint a Queen’s Counsel to represent the Indian community in a class action suit against the British government for bringing Indians as labourers to the then Malaya and thereafter exploiting them.
The suit was filed at the Royal Courts of Justice in London by Hindraf chief P. Waythamoorthy in August.
Really.
Why weren’t the students quoted themselves? How many students were there? Why are the views of these students in Cairo carried in Bernama but not a single peep from the 30,000 who hit the streets on Sunday? What authority do these students have that is louder and bigger than the 30,000 protesters? Who are these students (who may well be on government scholarship and benefitting from the discriminative policies) to have a right to be featured so prominently in the media? And their views are carried all the way from Cairo where Zam is most probably enjoying his little holiday abroad.
Free press is dead.
And the ‘various quarters’ who support the use of ISA against protesters:
President of the Federation of Peninsular Malay Students and Umno Youth committee member, Datuk Reezal Merican Naina Merican
Senior lecturer at Universiti Malaya’s History Department, Dr Ahmad Kamal Arifin
President of the Indian Muslim Congress Malaysia (KIMA) Syed Ibrahim Kader
Umno Youth treasurer Datuk Ab Hamid Mohd Nazahar
If the PM listens and consults only to these privilege few and ignore the strong voices from the 30,000 rakyat … this PM really is nothing but a stooge and does not deserve a second term. He does not love his rakyat. He does not listen to the raykat. He is not open to criticisms.
So how can we let this go on?
Please register to vote. It is still not too late.

BN bullshit, propaganda, indoctrination, misinformation, disinformation, brainwashing, and outright lies.
What a wonderful antidemocratic country Malaysia is.
The numb skulls in the government must be shit scared and are trying ever which way to hoodwink the potential voters.
They are wasting their time.
The end is neigh for the two-thirds majority for BN.

Well, I can also say that Malaysian students in Singapore support the Hindraf rally. See if they will publish that. But of course the opinions of Malaysian students in Singapore are not as valid as those of the students in Cairo since they are government scholars while the former are just non-entities that the government are happy to see leave the country anyway.

Dear Abdullah Badawi,
Hello Boss! I am writing to you again. I got nothing against your boy, Zam. I got nothing against him being a mamak. They are Malaysians like you and me. Infact, I think mamaks are very hardworking people. They can operate restaurants 24 hours a day and are always very keen to serve you. As a chinese, I admire their business acumen.
But Boss, your boy, Zam is becoming more than an embarrassment. He is making our country the laughing stock in the global community. And that is a big tight slap to you … infact make it two big tight slaps … *pow* and *pow* again, you know.
Boss, you need to seriously review this Zam’s performance … maybe give him an I.Q test, just to check and make sure he is of sound mind. Anyway, I have put forward a few candidates for you to consider to take over from Zam. The candidates are Saiful Apek, Aznil Nawawi and last night I also thought of Sharifah Aini. I believe these 3 can do a better job than Zam. They can entertain the rakyat.
As for Zam, after sacking him, you can offer him to run that Nasi Kandar outlet in Putrajaya.
Thank you.

Dear Yellow4me,
Regarding your letter you posted above, I understand your concern and would like to inform you that it was in fact Mam (pronounced Mum) Zam, as he is popularly known around all cabinet ministers, was wrongly quoted by Al Jazeera. When you hear the word “that” a few time and the word “pardon” a few times as well, it was because Al Jazeera manipulated the recording and used a disc jockey to repeat the same words again and again.
We have instructed Mam Zam to go to Cairo and speak to the big bosses of Al Jazeera of their actions and to sack the interviewer and site reporter for not toeing the line. As you know, they being not under the mainstream media control, Mam Zam cannot do anything but write a simpleton letter on NST to rebuke and to defend his words at the said Al Jazeera interview.
We have thought of replacing Mam Zam with those said above, but none of them can be as smug as the people I have because my people under me (Taxi, Kera Jantan and Mam Zam) have very strong vocalbulary with great use of the malay language to call people names that no one can think of i.e. (goblok, beruk, penyangak, bodoh)
Thank you for your letter, and I will be definitely putting into action on your above letter. As you know, I am wanting to know everything, even if it hurts me as I want you to work with me not for me. I am not in the business of cheating the people. As you can see, during the Merdeka Celebrations, I shouted Merdeka 7 times, just like our founding father, the Tunku. How can I then, be cheating the people? oh by the way, the aircraft, the yacht… dont believe them. If you believe them, then you are in trouble, because saya pantang di cabar!!!
by the way, Mam Zam wanted the perth nasi kandar shop instead of the putrajaya, but the shop already bungkus since July, so i will look at the report and act on it as soon as i wake up from my 4 hour afternoon nap.
Also, I must be doing something right since 1,074 or something like that malaysians believe in me according to survey done by friends and cronies. They, represent all Malaysians so I am doing a wonderful job
Yours truly and please, work with me and not for me.

Yeah, wow… Egypt!! Any publicity shots with pyramids in the background??
And what do you mean free press is dead? It’s not just dead, it’s cremated and buried too, for good measure. Which is a shame because I really need to issue a public statement to the world that NOT all Malaysians stutter and talk crap like Info man ali-ka-zam.
