PM’s Ipod!?

Did you know your Prime Minister owns an Ipod Nano?!!!! I didn’t. I have a Nano too, wow, I actually have something in common with the PM. *Gasp* And Japanese food? I love Japo food! lol.

From the official BN website:

For the PM, family meals are important, with fish featuring heavily. There are fewer chances these days to get together, but once or twice a week there is a cherished family meal.

He enjoys Japanese food but it is more difficult to go out for quiet meals these days. Being brought up in Penang means being partial to food of all varieties.

He reads the Quran daily following Maghrib prayers and takes notes in Jawi – his preferred shorthand.

Julius Caesar remains a firm Shakespearean favourite.

Outside of family, Tun Razak was a very strong influence that the PM is happy to describe as a mentor.

World events that have greatly influenced him include 9/11, driving a passion to promote a moderate, tolerant Islam.

Cars remain a keen interest. Driving however has become rare due to security needs.

Unwinding from the demands of the job may involve a rare game of golf, a bit of yoga or spending precious time with his grandchildren.

He likes musicals – My Fair Lady still the favourite - and classic singers such as Nat King Cole. The PM owns an I-pod Nano.

He enjoys Malaysian art and is a collector of woodcarvings and canes.

*coughs* Yoga?! lol

Anyway, a good friend of his also owns an Ipod, US President George W Bush, who created a little scandal involving ripping Beatles CDs and syncing it to his music machine. Heh.

I wonder what is on Pak Lah’s music list. I’m asking him directly. If any media orgs out there plans to scoop this idea, you know your read it here first! :)

But just for the heck of it, what kind of bands and musicians do you think he listens to? :)

wonder if this effort to portray the ‘human’ side of the PM has got anything to do with their rebranding plan. Ogilvy & Mathers was hired to rebrand BN
