Two months.

It has been two months since the political tsunami on March 8 swept Peninsular Malaysia.

We saw newly-formed Pakatan Rakyat made up of opposition parties DAP, PAS and PKR take over five key states and garnered 82 Parliamentary seats out of 222 available but have you felt the change? How do you feel? What have you seen? What more needs to be done by both Pakatan and Barisan Nasional?

Share your views on how same or different things are - be it in general or specific - since March 8. The more views the merrier!

Hey babes ! its not sedition but its a SET UP, using all the powers that be. It has nothing to do with sedition but the WELL BEING of an asshole and his missus.
    Qrs 1.
What has the UTK guys got to do with fucking around. Compare the missus and the model, to be frank any man would like a share of her, But she went to ask about ‘dah tangung” so, who did pluck the loop,Now anyman who cari makan outside wedlock will not want exposure, including me and your husband and any man who can get a chance, so, What do you do ? Get either some goons for a few hundred to do the job, but then again, if you are suchhhhh an important person, Get your bodyguards to” guard” you , by geting rid of her.
That guy razak vagina, has no control of the situation, so, WHO DONE IT Mr MAGOO ?
All signboards show only one direction. Yes, HE DONE IT ! ! ! He ordered his goons to do it. Thats my conclusion. Want to send me inside ? No probs.!
But again ,how many can you send inside till the TRUTH is OUT !
Bloody bastards ! MISUSE OF POWER ! Dont blame the two UTK guys, they were ordered to do it .How did they lay their hands on the plastersine ? HUH ? HOW ?
Who approved the despatch of the same? ? The UTK has a lot of “apparatus and equipment” but it has to be approved before its provided. Who has the POWER to order non compliance on the above?
Dear missus, You have been played out by sweet lips. Razak vagina is but a small underling who pleases every whims and fancys of the big guy.
Dear missus, if you want to know the truth, but im sure you will not accept it to continue your lifestyle, just like a lot of other kept woman, second hand ones at that,

I know it takes time for the Pakatan folks to get adjusted especially where policies issues are involved they may have the heart but not the legal will to do anything.

nevertheless, on a micro level - the area i am staying in which is Pandan and its surrounding - nothing changes! there’s not enuf parking space - no new development to address such issue. Buses stop anywhere they like. Rubbish collection time are inconsistence. of course this are not the job of the new MP but it affect my daily routine - darn!

on a macro level - how come none in the pakatan raise the issue of implementing the IPCMC? how come no campaign to remove archaic law like ISA, OSA, Sedition Act the University and College Act, the Printing and Press Act?

police is still business as usual - for eg the Citizen Nades case - why interview him when the other parties are not being interviewed? where is pakatan voice in this matter?

change? dont see any. dont feel any. and am getting more despair as i dont see any positive development in local council management and i dont see any pakatan concerted effort to push the federal government to implement IPCMC.

Generally, common apolitical people I met felt good and happy about it. Business folks…well, the business community has been unhappy for the last 4-5 years so it did not much matter. Quite a few are actually adjusting their companies policies and strategies in foreseen of a successful and permanent Pakatan administration. It is silly not to do so and risk being left out of the loop. Oh yes…one of friend told me that it is going to be easier to renew old land leases, hence, a good business opportunity there. For me, it is a good flicker of light at the end of what used to be a long dark tunnel. I won’t too complain for now lah. :)

While my sample size is small (I rarely read the papers), I have a slight feeling that they are a little less biased now.

Malaysiakini reported that the RM 500,000 for each Selangor state assemblymen is only for Pakatan state assemblymen. How is that different from the BN government previously in power?

Sure, the previous BN state government did the same. That doesn’t mean that the new Pakatan government should do the same. Is this time for political revenge? Don’t do unto others what you don’t want others to do unto you.

I am slowly losing confidence in Pakatan government, bit by bit.

What we have in the parliament right now is the best thus far. Stronger opposition compared to the past years. But it’s worrying that all political parties are all vying for 2/3 majority or what they called it “strong government” and no less which would in the end turn it into the rubber stamp parliament that we had been having. It is as though to be a good government they must be able to pass laws as and when they like. On the bright side, more MPs now have better understanding of their role as elected representative which is to represent the people who voted them in making laws at federal level and no more than that.

SInce I stay in selangor, I’m a little apalled by what PR is doing to the state. I don’t know wehether the issues brought up is over-sensationalized by the press or what, but for what I’m seeing, it aint looking good for the new Selangor MB. Because the thing is, I remembered they had all these super visionary ideas being promised before the elections, but yet…. if you’re keeping up with the news, *shrugs?* I dont know. Yes, maybe it takes time to produce results, but I can understand why people say PR actually stands for Pakatan Rapuh, and the new state goverment has to try really REALLY hard to prove otherwise.

In less than a week after I posted the first comment on this blog post, and I guess, brought to the Penang representatives that I have criticised, they have all responded. That included YB. Chow Kon Yeow, Ng Wei Aik (I guess partly on behalf of YAB. Lim Guan Eng), YB. Liew Chin Tong and Jeffrey Chew (on other issues).

Although their reply came late, I would still like to say thank you to them for being sincere and efficient in replying emails. Here’s (in the comment section) what they have said or replied.
