Many are also suffering from mild mental disorders which makes them like the nature of the job because it gives them a sense of power that was not there before. They wear a uniform and carry firearms and suddenly they think they are the big kahunas walking around, and fantasize that they have big manhoods overnight and have the power to harass girls at nightclubs, whereas before, they could not even get a girl to look at them. Plus, being in the police force allows them to accumulate lots of money from bribes and other possible deals with criminals, prominent families and big-time lawyers. Where else would they be able to get this kind of money? So in short, most of them, like our politicians, are essentially infidels and unclean souls, because they pretend to follow religion and yet secretly or openly engage in all kinds of dishonest, perverted and criminal activities.
