. . . on what divides and unites the nation.

Bung does a ‘KNNCCB’.

Oh it just keeps getting funnier and funnier ….

From Mkini:

Bung Mokhtar Radin (Kinabatangan - BN) today made an about-turn by admitting making an obscene gesture in the Dewan Rakyat during a dispute with some of Pakatan Rakyat MPs yesterday

“Yes, I did it but it is not what it means. Everybody has their own perception and it is not rude and it is not what people think it is,” said the Kinabatangan MP when met in the Parliament lobby.

Yesterday he denied making the gesture, describing his hand movements as the palm hitting a clenched fist.

He further reiterated today that he was angry with some of Pakatan MPs who had called him bodoh (stupid) and that was what triggered the Sabahan MP to do the gesture.

Not so much the news as opposed to this gem of a video, actually :) Go Hanief! lol.

p/s: I’m back, yes! More to come soon. I’ve been sooooooooo busy, it’s not even funny :(

Giving Bung the benefit of a doubt (only just!), someone should send Bung a copy of Hanif’s video or print out a photo and the reporters should ask him outright what his gesture (like the one he demonstrated in today’s NST photo) is supposed to mean. For the life of me, I’ve heard of a Johnson’s clap thanks to the earlier live demo by the MB of Pahang but I’ve never seen the gesture that Bung demonstrated as per NST photo.

And what was shown in the NST photo is definitely NOT the gesture we see the Kinabatangan MP doing on the video. It’s a stretch of imagine for anyone, even the one-eyed ex-Jasin MP who would have to squint really, really hard to try to imagine otherwise.

I have to agree with a comment I read on another blog that this latest gem of a quote/denial from Bung’s lips belongs in the same hall of infamy as Lingam’s “looks-like-me-sounds-like-me-but-it’s-not-me”.
