    Something I found floating about.
Don’t know whether it’s accurately describing the situation in Malaysia, but hey it’s pretty dramatic.

    Alas and aleck!

Indeed the ‘ship will sink’ within my lifetime
Time to pack up and go?
Like ‘rats’ leaving a sinking ship!
But the ‘kapitan’ wants a ‘clean’ ship although the murky waters are already at his waist.
What other choice do the unfavoured ones have?
Remain shackled by ‘chains’ and drown?
But indeed would the ‘vermin’ find among its ranks some of the ‘crew’ making a similar getaway?

What of the proud ship? Who would save that?
The ‘kapitan’? He’s too busy ‘cleaning’ his ship to notice the holes.
The ‘crew’? They are too busy with the helping ‘kapitan’ clean.
Or the unfavoured ones? Shall they run? Shall they drown?
    Nay, neither I say!
Indeed the unfavoured one must save the ship for no one else can see more clearly the situation dire.

Is it for the ‘kapitan’? He ordered the ‘chains’.
Is it for the crew? They helped put on the ‘chains’.
    For dignity and honour!
For indeed let the world know that the ‘chains’ have not stripped the unfavoured ones of their pride!
And yet the ‘kapitan’ holds the key to the ‘chains’ and they remained shackled and doomed to their fate to drown with the ship.
    What now?

So shout! Scream! Stamp your feet!
Do not let the laughter of the ‘crew’ drown your voice!
Shout it out loud that indeed the ship is sinking!
Shout at the risk of insults and beatings by the ‘crew’!
Shout it out loud! I beg of you.
For the ship depends on it.

    Hi Politikus,
One thing I find amazingly puzzling is why the Malaysian electorate does not see through the machinations of the BN.
They have been at the helm of this country for so long and things have been getting from bad to worst (yes, worst nor worse!) especially during the last quarter century or so.
Is it due to naivety, stupidity or some other personal trait of the Malaysian voters?

    Hi,
I am writing-in hoping that u can help me out.
I know that being a voter I have the right to transferr my vote ay my wish, right?
Since when the SPR has passed a new rule that I cannot transferr my vote right? This happen in Semporna district. Many of my friends want to transferr their votes but, being rejected by the officer. The answer he gave is that we have to vote according to the address written on mycard. If we want to transferr we have to go to registeration office to change and we have to pay rm10.00 for the changing of address. Is there a law on that? Please help me to find out. Thanks!

Now that you’re far too busy for the kitchen’s wok
Keep up with your journalistic words’ worthy work
With so many bubbling bottles waiting for you to uncork

    eh polytikus
your blog has ads on it tht’s not really relevant to you lah
Ref - the date ad banner at the right side of your blog with girls ages and pics.

Isn’t it better to remove it, or block it; it kinda brings down the level of your blog. :p

  19. # 19 polytikus Says:

    lol.

i see different ads from you lah. and i never knew my blog had quality! i’ve always thought it was free for all! :) but yeah, i should tweak the google adsense a bit. thanks! :)

  20. # 20 chevy Says:

LOL google adsense is not that perfect :p
Just kinda hard to think when got banners with dating gals in the blog. :-)
How come they don’t show banners with guys looking for a date, i wonder! :p

  21. # 21 Lisa Says:

    Hi,
I’d like to ask a few questions if you don’t mind being a contributory participator to my law assignment.
As I find you should be reliable in answering the matter regarding Sagong Tasi from the temuan tribe, as you have met him in person.
I read your post Jan 07 which I just randomly typed in his name and found your blog.
A view from you should be relevant and helpful to me.
In your opinion, did the govt. pay him fair justice as to the land compensated?
    Please write back.
    Thank you
